Raffles Family Office CEO Becomes Hong Kong-Singapore Business Group President

The association brings together businesses in the Asian financial hubs, which can be rivals but also interact closely in a number of ways.

Chi-man Kwan (main picture), group CEO of Raffles Family Office, has been elected as president of the Hong Kong Singapore Business Association (HSBA).

Dennis Chiu will continue in his role as chairman of HSBA, providing steady guidance and continuity for the association, according to a Linkedin post by the organisation. 

Owin Fung, director of the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office, Singapore, was also present during the AGM where the announcement was made, highlighting the connections between the two cities.

Established in 1994, HSBA is a platform for business networking connections between the business communities of Hong Kong and Singapore. 

HSBA, which was formed by 17 Singapore and Hong Kong founding companies and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, is a member of the Federation of Hong Kong Business Associations Worldwide.

In May, Raffles Family Office appointed two senior figures in Singapore: Terence Seow, and Shaun Lim. In November 2024, RFO added two senior figures from UBS to its team in Hong Kong.
